DR. PAUL HO-ORAL SURGEON

Paul is a dental specialist who limits his practice to oral and maxillofacial surgery. Oral and maxillofacial surgeons (OMS) are trained to treat and care for patients who experience conditions such as problem wisdom teeth, dental implant surgery and aesthetic conditions of the maxillofacial areas. Oral and maxillofacial surgery residency training requires four to seven years of intensive medical and surgical didactic and clinical training.

Paul majored in Chemistry at the University of Toronto before entering the School of Dentistry at Case Western Reserve in Cleveland, Ohio. After graduating summa cum laude in 1993, he entered a general practice residency at Metro Health Hospital in Cleveland, but received early admission to Henry Ford and Sinai-Grace Hospital for Oral and maxillofacial surgery, graduating in 1998.

He earned recognition as a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2000, and served as a board examiner for the Michigan State Licensing Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery until 2006. He serves as an attending surgeon at Oakwood Dearborn, Beaumont (Oakwood South-shore) and Sinai-Grace Hospital. Paul is certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

Paul is a person of many interests and talents. He enjoys traveling with his wife and two daughters. He is fluent in both English and Chinese (Mandarin).
