Showing appreciation to our Milford dental team

That quote, from Mahatma Gandhi, is such simple wisdom it almost seems forgettable. But those four simple principles are the reason Huszti Dental Care has been serving the Milford and Highland area for more than 25 years. We respect, understand, accept and appreciate the way the community has embraced us and our staff and the work we do.

Huszti Dental Care is proud to be a part of the community, which is why we show our appreciation by supporting local events either with sponsorship or by attending and getting to know and understand our neighbors. We love seeing patients at restaurants or walking downtown Milford when we’re running errands. It’s this neighborly feeling of acceptance that makes the area we serve unique.

And we appreciate our team members, too. Their dedication to our patients and their friendly smiles keep our practice strong, and Drs. Bill and Anna recently spent a day showing them how much they are appreciated.

It started with a team dinner at local favorite Highland House. (The entire team has been vaccinated, which kept us and those around us safe from the coronavirus. We not only love to support local businesses like this, but we have gotten to know the owners and employees over the years and, especially during this pandemic, we understand the importance of supporting neighboring businesses. But also important is that their food and service are always the best.

The staff appreciation event also included some high art: A viewing of F9 at the Emagine Theatre in Hartland. Based on Shakespeare’s brilliant…who are we kidding. There’s no getting around it — It was purely for its mindless fun. (What movie with a “9” after it could be anything but, right?) Anyway, we also chose it because longtime office manager Kim Doren has, well, a thing for Vin Diesel, the star of all nine of the Fast & Furious movies. We’ve kidded her about it for years.

It was a great night and brought us closer together as a team, which means a happier work environment, and that translates to better care for you.

We close with this quote from Mary Kay Ash, the founder of Mary Kay Cosmetics. It’s good advice whether at work or in your personal lives: “Everyone wants to be appreciated. So if you appreciate someone, don’t keep it a secret!”
